MEET OUR TEAM

Every one of our team of volunteers has a deep passion for music and are passionate about helping provide a energetic, sensory and therapeutic environment for all our customers.
Graham Kemp - Musical Director/Owner

Graham is a very experienced percussionist. He has spent 30 years as the bandmaster of a leading Scout and Guide band based in Surrey, taking part in many youth marching band competitions at venues such as NEC Birmingham, East of England Showground in Peterborough and the Royal Albert Hall in London.


In the past 10 years he has been a Support Worker supporting adults and children, who have learning difficulties in a variety of care settings and is currently working as a LSA (Learning Support Assistant) at Truro & Penwith’s Tregye Campus near Carnon Downs, for young people aged between 16-25 who have additional needs. During this time he has also played in numerous local rock bands.


Graham holds an NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care, and is fully First Aid trained. All staff have a 'fully enhanced DBS clearance' to work with young children and vulnerable adults. 


Malcolm Fricker - Non-Executive Director

Malcolm is a retired engineer, happily married for 30 years with 3 grandchildren. Malcolm moved to  Cornwall 18 years ago, loves gardening and watching  things grow and walking with his two dogs. His other passion is music and is the lead guitarist for Wadebridge based rock band 'Re-Ignition'. Malcolm brings a wealth of musical knowledge to the company, and is happy to get hands on, so watch out for him at some of our regular sessions.

Sam Deeks - Non Executive Director

Sam is also Owner/CEO of Tavistock based Reloved Guitars. Sam refurbs and upgrades and resurrects special old guitars. He also produces a range of custom-built guitars using re-cycled materials and up-cycled necks. Sam is a very experience guitarist who also bring a wealth of musical knowledge.

JOHNATHAN
As well as being one of our Probus Percussion Session Morning Volunteers, Johnathan can also be heard demonstrating his musical singing talent! His particular favourite artist is the great King of Rock 'n Roll ……. Elvis Presley! Come along to a session and hear for yourself!
RHYS
Rhys is the quite guy who just gets on with the tasks needing to be done. Rhys can often be seen getting on down with the congas or bongos. 
GRACE AND RYAN aka 'STAR WARS RYAN'
The Dynamic Duo - Grace and Ryan. Another boyfriend/girlfriend team. So much enthusiasm and passion for music! Amazing members of our lovely team of Drums4Fun CIC Volunteers!
RYAN aka 'DJ RYAN' 
Ryan AKA 'DJ Ryan'. Ryan can also be seen spinning the tunes as a DJ at The Gateway Club in Portreath on a Friday night from 7-9 p.m. He also spends time during the summer working on the fairgrounds. 

LEO (Supported by Emma and Jordan)

Leo brings bags of enthusiasm and his love of music. He can often be found singing at our Probus events and playing his accordion!

LILLY

Lilly has bags of enthusiasm and brings a big

smile to any of the events she attends, because she just loves music! She also enjoys train spotting and of course..... she's also Joe's girlfriend.

JOE

Joe is the new wizz to the tech team and has quickly mastered the audio and lighting equipment set up. Joe loves helping out in his local community , train spotting and of course ....he's also Lilly's boyfriend.
